IDC is seeking a proactive Audience Development Team Leader to oversee attendee registration and engagement for conferences and events across the Middle East. This role combines team leadership, marketing, sales tele-calling, and customer service skills to build and nurture relationships with attendees and potential leads, ensuring the success of IDC events.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Attendee Acquisition team across MEA countries.

Supervise database building and maintenance across the Middle East.

Manage end-user and speaker databases in Cvent/Semik; regularly update and qualify records.

Coordinate pre-event tasks for digital events, including platform, sponsor, and speaker management.

Update local events websites and support PR-related activities.

Travel to events as required and manage on-site operations.
Qualifications & Skills:

Professional verbal communication skills in English; Arabic fluency is a plus.

Understanding of marketing principles, audience segmentation, lead generation, and engagement strategies.

Prior experience in sales tele-calling, marketing support, or customer service, with a focus on relationship-building.

Proficiency in internet research and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent working abilities.

Flexibility to attend events outside standard working hours.
