The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking a dedicated Equipment Monitoring Operator to work at the Operations Control Center. The role involves monitoring bus operations, ensuring asset protection, supervising stations, and maintaining service quality. This position is critical to achieving operational efficiency and enhancing passenger satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with drivers, customers, and management to support bus station operations and ensure compliance with RTA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor bus drivers’ behavior in the field and within bus station rights of way.

• Maintain 24/7 availability across all bus stations.

• Supervise and protect RTA assets; prevent unauthorized use and penalize offenders per regulations.

• Monitor daily operations of investors and strategic stakeholders to ensure task completion.

• Implement management instructions, circulars, and service change orders.

• Ensure cleanliness of buses and station facilities according to approved washing schedules.

• Coordinate with the control center on bus schedules, accidents, and disruptions affecting operational efficiency.

• Receive and report drivers’ and customers’ observations to operations supervisors.

• Transfer findings from stations to relevant departments following standard procedures.

• Support and train new staff to maintain high service standards.

• Monitor health and safety procedures and all station equipment.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written; fluency in English is required, Arabic is an advantage.

• Resourceful team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer literacy.
