FrieslandCampina is seeking a Logistics Account Manager to lead the logistics function for CSC Middle East & North Africa (MENA), ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of dairy products from production to delivery. The role requires strategic oversight of transportation, warehousing, freight, and supply chain operations, while managing cost optimization, compliance, and stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in logistics management, supply chain optimization, and team leadership within a global corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Strategy & Management:

  • Lead CSC MENA logistics operations, coordinating with global teams, factory leads, and customer order desks.

  • Optimize transportation routes, select logistics providers, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Analyze costs, implement efficiency improvements, and manage day-to-day logistics from factory to distributor.

  • Handle customs documentation, clearance, and compliance in MENA markets.

• Carrier & Freight Management:

  • Participate in freight tender processes, negotiate with carriers, and manage trade lane allocations.

  • Monitor carrier performance and proactively address transit delays or disruptions.

• Warehousing & Distribution:

  • Manage warehouses (RFC and 3rd party) ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

  • Oversee transportation planning, shipment coordination, invoicing, and export documentation.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with logistics service providers.

• Insurance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure logistics and transportation operations are adequately insured.

  • Consult on risk management and oversee insurance claims from distributors.

• Project & Transformation Management:

  • Lead tactical and strategic projects, driving process improvements across OpCo and cross-functional teams.

• Human Resources & Team Development:

  • Build, coach, and lead an effective MENA logistics team.

  • Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with HR policies.

• Performance Management:

  • Develop management reports and KPIs to optimize logistics performance, cost, and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP enterprise systems (order to cash flow) and S&OP processes.

• Expertise in customs clearance and compliance for MENA markets.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI, and logistics management tools.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under tight deadlines.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
