Miral Experiences, home to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, is seeking a dedicated Zoological Associate to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the Zoological Department. This full-time on-site role involves direct animal care, guest interactions, enrichment activities, public presentations, and research. The position requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and involves standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 25 kg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily animal husbandry tasks, including administration of vitamins and medications.

• Prepare and provide proper nutrition and care for animals.

• Maintain safe, sanitary, and appropriate living conditions for all habitats.

• Learn and implement behavior modification techniques for assigned animals under supervision.

• Monitor animal and guest behavior to ensure safety at all times.

• Conduct animal presentations, guest interactions, and educational programs.

• Record observations, maintain animal records, and report abnormalities to leadership.

• Follow all company policies, guidelines, SOPs, and safe work practices.

• Participate in required trainings and maintain professional development.

• Assist in other duties as directed by the leadership team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant animal experience in a professional setting.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Excellent swimming and diving skills (not required for Aviculture).

• Basic mathematical and computer skills, including MS Office and animal recording systems.

• Understanding of fish, reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate husbandry, nutrition, and natural history.
