Vio is seeking a dedicated Child Development Specialist / Family Assistant to provide full-time support for a 12-year-old child. This role focuses on fostering personal, academic, and social development while promoting healthy routines and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate is experienced with pre-teens or adolescents, patient, nurturing, and knowledgeable about child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine Support: Assist in creating and maintaining structured daily routines, including morning and evening activities.

• Academic Guidance: Support schoolwork, organize study schedules, and track academic progress.

• Activity Planning: Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, hobbies, and social engagements.

• Emotional & Social Development: Provide guidance in social situations and support emotional well-being through a positive environment.

• Health & Lifestyle Guidance: Promote balanced diet, exercise, and healthy habits.

• Communication with Parents: Provide regular updates on the child’s development, highlighting areas requiring additional support.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

• Proven experience working with children or adolescents in roles such as nanny, teacher, child psychologist, or child development specialist.

• Understanding of pre-teen child development.

• Strong organizational skills, patience, and nurturing disposition.

• Ability to build rapport with children and collaborate effectively with parents.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Clean background check and references.
