Emirates Bustanica is looking for a Team Supervisor to oversee daily farming operations, manage a team of Leads and Crews, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and production quality. The role involves supervising indoor vertical farming processes, optimizing workflow, and maintaining ideal growing conditions for crops. Candidates with prior experience in agriculture, horticulture, or Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor team members, providing training and performance guidance.

• Assign tasks and schedule activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.

• Oversee planting, growing, harvesting, and packaging operations.

• Monitor and maintain optimal plant growth conditions (lighting, humidity, temperature, nutrients).

• Ensure strict compliance with SOPs, HACCP, GMP, and safety protocols.

• Conduct quality inspections to meet food safety and product standards.

• Resolve plant health issues to prevent disruptions and maintain crop quality.

• Generate reports and provide insights to the Production Manager for continuous improvement.

• Use farm management software to monitor resources and streamline operations.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma (12-year graduate) or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within agriculture or horticulture.

• Background in indoor vertical farming or Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is highly desirable.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Knowledge of plant growth optimization, food safety standards, and compliance protocols.

• Proficiency in farm management software and data-driven operations.
