Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk is seeking a Commis III to join their kitchen brigade. The role involves food preparation, mise en place, assisting with food presentation, and supporting the Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations. The Commis III contributes to maintaining high food quality, organization, and hygiene standards in a luxury hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare mise en place and assist in food preparation and presentation.

Follow orders from Chef de Partie and execute them correctly.

Write daily requisitions, kitchen transfers, and maintain stock rotation under Chef de Partie supervision.

Maintain clean and organized kitchen sections and pass information to the next shift.

Attend meetings with Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef as required.

Report any equipment issues or accidents and follow company safety and hygiene policies.

Assist in developing new recipes and menu ideas.
Candidate Profile / Qualifications:

Basic reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Good communication skills and customer awareness.

Team player with at least 1 year of food and beverage experience.

Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and kitchen operations.
