Calidus, LLC is seeking a dedicated Assistant Bending Machine Operator to support sheet metal bending operations. The role involves assisting senior operators with programming, machine setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support CLS Management System, including quality, safety, environment, information security, and code of conduct.

• Assist senior operators in programming bending machine controls.

• Help set up tools and load/unload sheet metal onto machines.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Inspect bent parts for defects and ensure quality standards.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and QA standards.

• Adhere to all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and report incidents promptly.

• Manage tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with bending machines.

• Knowledge of armored/ballistic materials is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to learn and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
