Apt Resources is seeking a proactive Maintenance Team Leader for a prestigious boutique resort. The role focuses on leading a team of technicians to maintain HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, and commercial laundry appliances while ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and operate HVAC systems, chillers, freezers, hot kitchen equipment, and commercial laundry equipment.

• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment lifespan and efficiency.

• Perform routine inspections and diagnose equipment failures, minimizing operational interruptions.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions, repairs, and parts replacements.

• Collaborate with management to schedule maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.

• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance tasks.

• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to the maintenance team, promoting continuous improvement.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field.

• At least 3 years of experience in HVAC and commercial kitchen equipment maintenance.

• Leadership and team management skills with strong communication abilities.

• Skilled in using maintenance management software and maintaining detailed records.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and ensure safety compliance.

• Relevant certifications in HVAC and kitchen equipment maintenance are advantageous.

• Previous experience in luxury resorts or remote island locations preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary: 96,000 XCD (~USD 35,700).

• Includes accommodation, one-way flight to Antigua, and return flight at contract completion.
