The Depot Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and serviceability of aviation and fuel products at the depot and apron. The role involves carrying out fuelling and defuelling operations, quality control checks, sampling, and daily operational tasks while maintaining compliance with HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Fuelling Operations:

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly visual and instrument quality checks on mobile and static equipment, fuellers, tanks, pipelines, and accessories.

• Monitor storage tank dips, perform floating suction and conductivity checks.

• Perform serviceability checks on equipment for cleanliness, leaks, or damages.

• Report fuel levels and maintenance requirements to the Depot Supervisor.

Quality Check and Sampling:

• Take samples from filters, tanks, pipelines, and other equipment per company guidelines.

• Conduct visual inspections on incoming products and verify vehicle seals.

• Maintain and clean sampling equipment and prepare required documentation.

• Perform loading, unloading, defueling, and internal transfer activities, including periodic tests like filter membrane and ullage checks.

HSE Responsibilities:

• Follow emergency plans and use safety equipment appropriately.

• Participate in HSE campaigns, training, and awareness sessions.

• Ensure full compliance with PPE and safety regulations.

• Report incidents and near misses immediately to the supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Secondary/High School Certificate.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a depot operator.

• UAE valid manual heavy-duty and light-duty driving licenses.

• Valid forklift license (as per site requirements).
