Aldar Education is seeking a UAE National Social Worker to join Al Danah Charter School, an American Curriculum school in Abu Dhabi. The role requires a passionate, dedicated professional who can support students’ personal, social, and emotional well-being while promoting positive behavior, safeguarding, and attendance improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate as part of the pastoral team to support student development.

• Conduct assessments of students’ needs and provide tailored support.

• Work with students, parents, teachers, and community members to enhance well-being.

• Assist in building emotional and behavioral competencies for classroom success.

• Support bullying prevention and provide conflict resolution services.

• Maintain accurate attendance records and support initiatives promoting good attendance.

• Collaborate with the School Counsellor and senior leadership on safeguarding and child protection matters.

• Act as a role model, maintaining high standards of behavior and promoting independence.

• Support extracurricular activities, events, and wider school life.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Development, Sociology, or related field.

• Social Worker License from the Department of Community Development (DCD).

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in youth-related social work.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and parents.

• Ability to inspire trust, respect, and confidence.

• High emotional and physical energy for handling diverse situations.

• Knowledge of UAE Ministry of Education and ADEK regulations.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Resilience and ability to work under pressure.

• Commitment to professional development (CPD).
