The role involves ensuring that the highest sanitation and hygiene standards are met across all hotel operations, implementing HACCP food safety systems, conducting audits, and training staff in best hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and upgrade sanitation and hygiene standards across the hotel.

• Oversee HACCP food safety system, consolidate data, and manage complaints.

• Lead and conduct bi-monthly self-audits as per HACCP guidelines.

• Implement and monitor hygiene best practices across kitchens, storage, and waste disposal areas.

• Maintain accurate hygiene and sanitation records.

• Coordinate with department heads to address hygiene-related concerns.

• Assist in corrective actions for audit findings and microbiological testing results.

• Conduct training for food handlers and staff to improve hygiene competence.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

• HACCP & Food Safety Certifications (mandatory).

• Certified Professional in Food Safety (CP-FS) preferred.

• Environmental Health & Safety Certification desirable.

• Strong knowledge of hygiene standards, regulations, and audit practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

• Sound knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational health & safety practices.
