Aldar Education, a leading education group in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a People & Culture Assistant to support HR functions across its growing network of schools. The role involves assisting with talent acquisition, onboarding, HR operations, performance enablement, and employee relations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, maintain accurate HR records, and provide exceptional service to new, current, and exiting staff.

Responsibilities:

• Support the HR Officer with all HR-related concerns and tasks.

• Assist in the onboarding process, including pre-employment communication, induction, and visa/work permit applications.

• Coordinate employee exit processes in collaboration with operations and payroll teams.

• Maintain and update HR databases and electronic document management systems (EDMS).

• Conduct pre-employment checks, references, and police clearances.

• Manage ADEK pass applications and liaise with relevant teams for IT and ID setup.

• Support performance review cycles, probation processes, and appraisal documentation.

• Handle staff health insurance applications, renewals, and cancellations.

• Manage staff attendance systems and prepare reports.

• Ensure proper maintenance of confidential employment records.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field (HR or related discipline preferred).

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR or recruitment (service industry experience is a plus).

• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic desirable).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Knowledge of UAE labor laws, immigration, and HAAD requirements.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure.
