Job Title: Cashier & Customer Service Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Cashier & Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional service to our customers while ensuring smooth and accurate retail transactions. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with purchases, answering queries, and delivering a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers, assist with inquiries, and guide them in locating products

• Provide professional advice and product recommendations based on customer needs

• Operate cash registers, scanners, scales, and other point-of-sale equipment

• Accurately process payments via cash, credit, or debit, and issue receipts

• Ensure pricing and quantities are correct for every transaction

• Balance the cash register at the end of shifts and generate sales reports

• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and follow company service standards

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in customer service or cashier roles preferred

• Ability to handle transactions with accuracy and responsibility

• Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude

• Basic math and computer skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
