Banyan Group, a leading multi-branded luxury hospitality group, is seeking a Specialty Waiter/Waitress for Banyan Tree Dubai. This role involves delivering exceptional dining experiences in a specialized culinary environment, offering personalized service, menu expertise, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests professionally, providing a personalized dining experience.

• Engage with guests to understand preferences and recommend specialty dishes, drinks, and pairings.

• Provide detailed information on menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, dietary restrictions, and allergens.

• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing concerns promptly.

• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining presentation standards.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service.

• Upsell specialty items and suggest complementary courses or beverages.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table resetting and proper utensil arrangement.

• Handle guest bills and payments accurately.

• Stay updated on seasonal menu changes and new specialty offerings.

• Perform any other duties assigned by management to support smooth department operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress, preferably in a specialty or fine-dining environment.

• In-depth knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent guest engagement abilities.

• Ability to provide educational and enriching dining experiences.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
