A leading Private School in Dubai is seeking a Head of Foundation Stage (FS) to lead and oversee the early years program. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The Head of FS will manage staff, develop and implement the FS curriculum, monitor student progress, and maintain strong engagement with parents and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Foundation Stage department and provide leadership to FS staff

• Develop, implement, and monitor the FS curriculum in line with educational standards

• Monitor student learning outcomes and progress, implementing interventions as needed

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students

• Engage effectively with parents and the wider school community

• Handle administrative responsibilities and ensure compliance with educational regulations

• Support staff professional development and mentorship

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and managerial experience, including team management

• Strong knowledge of FS curriculum development and implementation

• Understanding of educational standards and regulatory compliance

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Experience in early childhood education is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree preferred
