Anderson & Booz is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant – Learning Support to provide specialized assistance to a child with Autism in Grade 7. The role involves supporting the student within a mainstream British school environment, as well as running individualized programs at home under the guidance of a BCBA/IBA. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with special needs children.

Work Details:

• Location: Dubai, UAE – Sustainable City (Mainstream British School)

• Setting: School, home, and community

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one educational and emotional support to a child with Autism

• Implement personalized programs in school and home as per BCBA plans

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to execute IEPs and behavioral strategies

• Adapt and prepare learning materials to suit the child’s needs

• Monitor, record, and report on the child’s progress and behaviors

• Foster independence, confidence, and positive peer interactions

• Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding progress and concerns

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field (preferred)

• Proven experience working with children with Autism or special needs in educational settings

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

• Familiarity with the National British Curriculum

• Fluency in English
