IHG Hotels & Resorts at InterContinental® Hotel Dubai Festival City is looking for a dedicated F&B Server for Events. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences during banquets, corporate events, and private functions. The F&B Server ensures smooth operations, attentive service, and adherence to the hotel’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend banquet briefings to understand event requirements, room layouts, and guest expectations.

• Assemble and disassemble tables, chairs, and equipment carefully; report any maintenance needs.

• Follow health, safety, and hygiene policies at all times.

• Provide attentive, prompt, and accurate service to guests, anticipating their needs.

• Handle guest complaints professionally, resolving issues efficiently.

• Supervise casual staff, ensuring proper training, allocation, and utilization.

• Maintain grooming standards and comply with time and attendance policies.

• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and hotel events as required.

• Uphold fire, life safety, and security procedures; report incidents timely.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.

• Strong planning, analysis, and time management skills.

• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel.

• Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role in a 5-star property.

• High school diploma required; college/university degree is a bonus.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
