Magellan Capital, a rapidly growing DIFC-based investment management firm, is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join its Finance team in Dubai. The role involves accounting, valuation, and reporting for public and private investments across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, support investor reporting, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily, monthly, and quarterly fund accounting records.

• Reconcile cash, positions, income, and expenses.

• Handle accounting for complex financial instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.

• Ensure accurate valuation of public securities and coordinate fair value assessments for private holdings.

• Prepare and review NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations and investor capital statements.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, investor reporting, and regulatory filings.

• Liaise with auditors, administrators, and other stakeholders during audits and fund launches.

• Collaborate with investment, operations, legal, and compliance teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Recognised accounting qualification (CMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).

• 5+ years of fund accounting experience with exposure to both public and private investments.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and investment accounting principles.

• Experience with LPs, master-feeder, or open/closed-end fund structures.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
