Emirates Logistics LLC is hiring a Safety Officer responsible for supervising and coordinating all Health & Safety (H&S) matters within the facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety protocols, conducting daily safety rounds, maintaining safety equipment, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers. The Safety Officer will also manage training, incident reporting, emergency evacuation drills, and discipline within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety activities in the facility.

Prepare and maintain H&S checklists.

Ensure workers wear proper PPE and maintain discipline during break times.

Conduct daily facility rounds to identify hazards and abnormalities.

Maintain discipline and harmony with supervisors and management.
-
Report any indiscipline or disruptive conduct to management.

Assist in periodic safety training and awareness programs, including induction training.

Record incident and accident reports accurately.

Inspect and maintain safety equipment and first aid kits; arrange replenishment and repairs.

Lead emergency evacuation drills and ensure emergency exits are maintained.

Monitor high-risk activities and implement waste management and hygiene systems.

Perform additional safety-related duties as assigned by the department head.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree required.
-
NEBOSH or IOSH certified.
-
Energetic and physically active with attention to detail and risk analysis.

Strong people management and discipline handling skills.
-
Self-disciplined with dedication to upholding safety culture.
-
Proactive team player committed to continuous improvement.
-
Good communication, presentation, and MS Office skills.
