Courtyard by Marriott Dubai World Trade Centre is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Telephone Operator to join their Front Office team. As the primary point of contact for guests and callers, the Telephone Operator will provide exceptional service by managing incoming calls, directing inquiries, and coordinating with various hotel departments to meet guest needs efficiently. This role demands strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle guest requests with care, ensuring the high standards of the Marriott brand are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls and guest inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

Anticipate guest needs by actively listening and providing accurate, timely information or solutions.

Coordinate effectively with departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Concierge, and F&B to fulfill guest requests.

Follow up on guest feedback and complaints received via telephone, ensuring prompt logging and resolution.

Utilize property management and communication software (e.g., OPERA) to document calls, service requests, and follow-ups.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive guest information.

Support guest satisfaction goals by delivering outstanding service aligned with Marriott brand values.
Qualifications & Skills:

1 to 2 years experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment preferred.

Excellent verbal communication skills in English.

Strong telephone etiquette with a pleasant and clear voice.

Proficiency in computer systems, including MS Office and hotel reservation or communication software such as Opera or Fidelio.

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Previous experience in hotel or customer service roles is an advantage.
