Job Description:

ATLANTA TRAINING CENTER is seeking an accomplished Fashion Design & Tailoring Instructor to lead our new “Professional Program in Fashion Design and Tailoring” in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fashion professional to share their expertise, mentor aspiring designers, and shape the future of the fashion industry.

We are looking for a creative visionary with exceptional technical skills — someone who can guide students through the entire journey, from fundamental sewing to creating a polished professional collection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver an engaging, hands-on 220-hour curriculum covering sewing machine operation, garment construction, pattern drafting, and fashion design fundamentals

• Demonstrate advanced tailoring methods, pattern manipulation, and fitting techniques

• Teach the creative side of fashion — including illustration, mood board creation, trend forecasting, and collection development

• Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them develop strong technical skills and a professional portfolio

• Maintain an organized, safe, and inspiring classroom environment

• Assess student progress through practical assignments and portfolio reviews

Required Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in the fashion industry, with expertise in both design and technical tailoring

• Strong knowledge of garment construction, advanced sewing, and pattern drafting

• Mastery of the fashion design process, from concept development to final collection

• Prior experience as a trainer, mentor, or educator (preferred)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• A passion for inspiring and guiding learners from diverse backgrounds
