Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a UAE National Operational Security Specialist Intern to join its rapidly expanding Data Centre team in Dubai. This internship offers the opportunity to work on operational security excellence, collaborate with vendors, and support improvements in physical security operations. The role is ideal for Emirati students pursuing a degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or related fields, who are graduating in 2025 or 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vendors for new security installations, repairs, patrols, and operational planning.

• Gather and analyse security data to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.

• Recommend enhancements to electronic surveillance and access control systems.

• Promote awareness and training for data centre staff on reducing false alarms.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management on physical security operations.

Skills Required:

• Emirati national with family book.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

• Expected graduation in 2025 or 2026.

• Knowledge of access control and video surveillance systems (e.g., LENEL, C-cure) is a plus.

• Strong interest in security investigations, policy review, and procedural improvement.

• Ability to write clear, detailed reports.

• Strong observational and analytical skills.
