The role of Head of Department (HOD) – Sterile is a full-time, on-site position based in Ras Al Khaimah. The primary focus is to strengthen the technical capabilities and quality culture within Julphar’s technical operations team. The HOD will lead continuous training efforts for technical staff, participate in GMP audits and health authority inspections, support the development and issuance of technical training plans and materials, and ensure training effectiveness as part of compliance programs.

Key responsibilities include organizing and implementing capability development concepts across all technical departments and collaborating closely with stakeholders to enhance quality culture. The candidate must exhibit strong leadership, excellent communication skills, agility in change management, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Pharmacy, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in GxP environments. Certified trainer certification is preferred, alongside proficiency in computer usage and presentation skills.
