Keolis.MHI, a global leader in public transport operations, is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Information and Security Controller – Tram (UAE National) to join its team in Dubai. The position plays a critical role in monitoring the security of the Dubai Tram Al Sufouh System and providing timely and clear passenger information from the control room.

This full-time, on-site role is ideally suited for UAE Nationals with experience in security services, preferably in railway or public utility settings. The selected candidate will be a key contact point for coordination between customer service staff, tram operations, and external enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Control & Incident Response:

• Monitor security across all tram facilities including stations, depots, office buildings, auxiliary structures, and car parks.

• Operate and monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats, crime, or anti-social behaviour.

• Direct Customer Service Operators and coordinate with other frontline staff in real-time.

• Act as the central point of communication between the tram system and law enforcement/security agencies.

Operational Monitoring & Coordination:

• Communicate clearly and promptly with passengers via control room announcements.

• Monitor passenger activity on platforms and trams, assisting Customer Service Operators and Tram Drivers as needed.

• Oversee the operation of essential station systems like elevators, escalators, fire detection systems, and ticket vending machines (TVMs).

• Coordinate tram movement during abnormal operations and report issues to the Chief Controller.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Alert the Chief Controller to any incidents or irregularities on the network.

• Assist in organizing external communications as directed.

• Access recording systems for investigative purposes when required.

• Participate in shift and emergency duties as scheduled.

Health, Safety, Environment & Information Security:

• Promote and maintain a strong HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality & Environment) and Information Security culture across the team.

• Comply with all personal safety obligations, including the correct use of PPE and supporting subcontractor compliance.

• Protect physical and digital information assets from internal and external threats.

Skills Required:

• Fluency in English and Arabic.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergencies.

• Strong IT skills and familiarity with complex systems.

• Holds a valid UAE driving license with good driving record.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2–3 years in a security-related role, ideally in law enforcement, railways, or public utilities.

• Experience in railway operations and frontline services is highly preferred.

• Ability to follow rules, guidelines, and standard operating procedures effectively.

Educational Qualifications:

• Ideally a degree holder or high diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g., security management, public safety, or transport operations).
