With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability, UltraTech is expanding its team in the UAE and looking to hire a skilled Assistant Manager / Senior Officer – Banking at its Jebel Ali, Dubai office.
This role demands a finance professional with robust experience in banking operations, funds management, trade finance, and compliance. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling cross-functional coordination to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Funds Management:

Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal fund utilization across business units.

Review entity-wise bank reconciliations (BRS) and highlight open items for appropriate accounting actions.

Track customer cheques and process vendor payments to meet due dates.
Trade Finance & Working Capital:

Handle Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, including verification, negotiation with banks, and processing for both imports and exports.

Manage LC amendments and ensure compliance with Inco terms and UAE banking regulations.

Process import payments (LC/CAD) in a timely manner.

Prepare interest provisions and generate trade facility utilization reports for management reporting (MIS).
Banking Operations:

Coordinate with banks to ensure smooth and timely execution of online payments.

Resolve bank queries efficiently and verify payee bank details, including swift codes and IBANs.

Track and review bank advices and ensure accurate payment processing.
Insurance Management:

Liaise with insurance brokers and internal departments to manage timely renewals of all general and corporate insurance policies.

Ensure continuous coverage across medical, property, personal accident, and marine insurance.

Maintain full compliance and mitigate financial exposure through proper insurance enforcement.
Month-End and MIS Reporting:

Prepare and submit monthly reports, including:

Monthly Borrowing & Interest MIS

Bank Reconciliations
-
Working Capital Utilization
-
Monthly Interest Provisions

Qualifications and Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking and finance functions.

Educational qualifications: CA Intermediate or B.Com.

Strong understanding of UAE banking systems and financial regulations.

Proficiency in trade finance documentation and ERP systems.

Excellent coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
