Gritstone Technologies is hiring a Medical Records Scanning & Indexing Specialist to support its healthcare operations in Abu Dhabi. This role involves digitizing and indexing sensitive patient records with precision, confidentiality, and in full compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in handling EMR/EHR systems and managing medical records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digitize physical medical records using high-resolution scanners.

• Index scanned documents into EMR/EHR systems using predefined categories.

• Apply appropriate naming conventions, date stamps, and metadata for easy retrieval.

• Cross-check scanned files with original documents to ensure accuracy.

• Manage sensitive patient information per local laws and healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

• Maintain accurate logs of scanned batches and indexing status.

• Collaborate with on-site teams to access records, resolve issues, and communicate task progress.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and correct inconsistencies.

• Ensure timely completion and delivery of digitized records.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical records scanning and indexing.

• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and document management software is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.

• Basic knowledge of healthcare document types and terminology.

• Professionalism in handling confidential patient data.

• Proficient in computer operations, scanning tools, and file organization.

• Willingness to work in a healthcare setting with sensitive information.
