Job Title: Accountant 

Job Description:

A well-established confidential construction company based in Dubai is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. This is a full-time mid-career role for professionals who have solid experience managing construction accounts within the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently handling all accounting functions and delivering accurate financial reports.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Accountant – Construction

• Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

• Salary: AED 3,000 – 5,000 per month

• Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in accounting/auditing within the UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and update financial ledgers

• Prepare and reconcile monthly bank and cash statements

• Generate and present financial reports to management

• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and WPS payroll systems

• Liaise with external auditors and consultants during audits and reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of accounting or auditing experience in the UAE

• Prior experience in the construction industry is highly preferred

• Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books

• Deep knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and tax laws

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
