Towers Rotana is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Laundry Order Taker to join its laundry operations team. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai requires excellent communication skills and the ability to ensure laundry services for guests are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in laundry operations and familiarity with systems like Micros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and handle messages regarding laundry pick-ups, deliveries, charges, and guest preferences

• Answer phone calls promptly using proper telephone etiquette

• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of guest laundry requests

• Log all calls, including room number, time, and assigned valet, in the laundry logbook

• Accept garments from guests and staff for processing

• Inspect and sort cleaned items and prepare them for return

• Mend guest garments and replace any broken or missing buttons

• Record laundry charges and post them to guest accounts using the Micros system

• Report any damage or loss of laundry equipment to the Laundry Manager

• Assist with administrative tasks and support laundry supervisors

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area

• Ensure laundry staff are knowledgeable about hotel services

Job Requirements:

• Vocational training in laundry operations

• Prior experience in a similar laundry or housekeeping position

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Knowledge of Micros system is a plus
