Al-Futtaim Automotive, a leading division of the Al-Futtaim Group, is currently seeking a Workshop Planner to join the Toyota team in Ajman. This role is essential to the smooth operation of workshop activities and efficient job allocation. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and ensuring timely job completion by assigning tasks to technicians based on their skill sets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocate repair and service jobs to technicians efficiently according to skillset and job complexity.

• Monitor the technician planning board and job progress boards, escalating concerns to the Workshop Manager.

• Drive technician utilization and efficiency by maintaining a balanced task distribution.

• Ensure strict adherence to the Fix It Right (FIR) process.

• Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet required quality standards.

• Track and maintain time clocking accuracy for technicians.

• Keep Service Advisors informed about vehicle progress to ensure on-time customer delivery.

Skills Required:

• 2–3 years of experience as a Workshop Planner or Controller in an automotive dealership.

• Proficiency in technical job allocation based on technician capabilities.

• Ability to write detailed and clear technical reports.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

• Prior experience as a Diagnostic Technician is preferred.

• UAE driving license is a plus but not mandatory.

Team & Environment:
You will report directly to the Aftersales Manager and work closely with technicians and service advisors. Your coordination and communication across departments will be key in achieving service excellence and operational efficiency.
