Job Title: AutoCAD Civil Draughtsman 

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Civil Draughtsman to support the planning and design of critical civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and other infrastructure developments. This role is ideal for professionals who are skilled in CAD drafting and have a solid understanding of civil engineering principles.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and architects to convert concepts and specifications into precise technical drawings that meet project and regulatory standards. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD (and preferably Civil 3D) are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related software

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret project requirements and design intent

• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes and improvements

• Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, standards, and project specifications

• Conduct site visits when required to gather field data and support design accuracy

• Support the documentation process by preparing reports and technical files

• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related documents

• Participate in design meetings and contribute ideas for project optimization

• Utilize 3D modeling tools for improved visualization and presentation of civil layouts

• Stay updated on industry drafting standards and software advancements

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software

• 2–4 years of relevant drafting experience in civil projects

• Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and technical specifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and produce technical drawings with high accuracy

• Familiarity with local building regulations and municipal guidelines

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field

• Experience in 3D modeling and presentation is a plus
