Job Title: Telecom & Network Cabling Technician 

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Telecom & Network Cabling Technician with hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic, Cat-6A UTP, copper, and power cabling. The ideal candidate should be able to work in fast-paced project environments and ensure high-quality, standards-compliant installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cabling Installation: Install, monitor, and maintain Cat-6A UTP, fiber optics, copper, and power cables in line with project specifications and safety standards

• Network Racks: Set up and organize network racks and related equipment for effective connectivity and performance

• Containment Systems: Design and install containment systems (e.g., trays, ducts) for secure and clean cabling routes

• Civil Work Coordination: Work alongside civil teams for any structural adjustments needed for telecom and electrical installations

• Network Hardware Deployment: Deploy, configure, and integrate network hardware seamlessly with existing infrastructure

• Fiber Optics Work: Terminate, splice, test, and joint various fiber optic cables

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, materials used, modifications, and system layout

• Compliance: Ensure all work meets project and safety regulations

• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and contractors to meet tight project deadlines

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in fiber optic splicing, testing, jointing, and termination

• Skilled in terminating copper cables, fiber optic cabling, and setting up patch panels

• Proficient in the installation of racks, ladders, trays, ducts, and power cable systems

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities

• Ability to label, document, and maintain accurate cabling systems

• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in a similar role

• Ability to read and work with telecom layouts and technical drawings
