Brainlake is looking for a seasoned UX / UI Lead Designer to head the user experience and interface strategy for a high-profile government program. This contract-based, on-site position in Abu Dhabi requires a visionary leader with a strong design background and the ability to align complex stakeholder needs into a seamless, user-centered digital experience.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX/UI strategy and execution for a government digital program.

• Conduct Design Thinking workshops and collaborate with clients to build shared understanding.

• Develop sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

• Align UX/UI designs with global best practices and user-first principles.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure unified design standards.

• Review and critique design deliverables for quality and alignment with project goals.

• Advocate for the user at every stage of the product development lifecycle.

• Influence and engage senior stakeholders in strategic design decisions.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a proven portfolio.

• Demonstrated leadership in UX strategy and user experience design for complex applications.

• Experience working with external design and development partners.

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Miro, InVision, and similar design tools.

• Strong grasp of mobile-first and responsive design principles.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Arabic proficiency is a plus.

• Must be based in Abu Dhabi for the duration of the project.
