ABB is hiring a dedicated RDC Quality Control Specialist to support quality control operations and ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry standards. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong engineering background, hands-on experience with electrical components, and a passion for quality assurance. You will play a key role in testing, validation, and inspection processes across ABB’s local manufacturing and product development activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct test protocols to verify that products, systems, or software meet required specifications.

• Support quality control across supplier quality, production, engineering, and validation.

• Maintain strict adherence to ABB’s quality management system and escalate non-conformance issues.

• Participate in the development and execution of training initiatives related to quality.

• Evaluate data and ensure compliance with ABB standards and customer expectations.

• Assist engineering in developing and executing test protocols for new or enhanced products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for inspections and process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience with electrical components.

• Strong understanding of low voltage circuit breakers, contactors, and similar systems.

• Proficient in English, with excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce platforms.

• Experience in electrical system installation, commissioning, and use of digital testing equipment (e.g., voltage/current generators, digital recorders).

• Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
