Job Summary:
Raffles The Palm Dubai is currently hiring Waiters/Waitresses to join their Food & Beverage team. As a vital part of the guest experience, the Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and provide exceptional service throughout their dining experience

• Read daily event briefs and be aware of VIP arrivals

• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods

• Present children’s menus and promote daily specials when appropriate

• Serve and clear food and beverages in a professional manner

• Utilize POS system for sales transactions, billing, and cash handling

• Set and reset tables with appropriate linens, glassware, and silverware

• Ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues with the support of the manager

• Follow all cash and credit card handling procedures as per accounting standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and work stations

• Report guest feedback and service issues to management promptly

• Assist other F&B outlets during peak periods

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food and beverage serving role

• Previous experience handling cash and public interactions preferred

• Secondary school education

• Proficient in English (verbal and written)

• Neatly groomed and professionally presented at all times

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

• Basic knowledge of F&B products and safety procedures
