XYZ Technologies is looking for an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join their on-site team in Dubai. The role involves setting up, installing, testing, and maintaining a wide range of AV equipment. Ideal candidates should have hands-on experience with AV systems, a strong understanding of signal flow and connectors, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and install AV equipment such as projectors, speakers, monitors, and rack systems

• Test audio and video signals to identify and resolve technical issues

• Install cables in conduits and trays, maintaining organized layouts

• Terminate connectors (RJ45, XLR, BNC, etc.) with precision

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repair of AV equipment

• Follow strict health and safety standards at all job sites

• Maintain and manage AV tools and ensure proper usage

• Collaborate with team members and provide progress updates

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications in AV preferred)

• Proven experience as an AV technician or in a similar technical role

• Proficient in installation and troubleshooting of AV systems

• Strong knowledge of cable routing and connector terminations

• Familiarity with AV signal flow and industry-standard protocols

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
