Job Summary:
Amazon Web Services is inviting UAE Nationals currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program to join their 2025 Data Scientist Internship program. This full-time internship is designed for students with a passion for machine learning, big data, and scientific innovation. Interns will work alongside world-class scientists and engineers on impactful projects that drive real-world results at global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to research and solve real-world problems using scientific methods and ML models

• Build, test, and deploy machine learning models using large-scale data sets and AWS cloud tools

• Develop metrics and algorithms to measure customer engagement and satisfaction

• Communicate results through presentations, technical papers, and internal documentation

• Experience Amazon’s customer-obsessed culture and contribute to innovation that scales from local to global levels

• Support scientific and technical initiatives through data analysis and algorithmic development

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in data science and machine learning concepts

• Familiarity with scripting and statistical programming (Python, SQL, R, SAS, Matlab)

• Ability to analyze and work with large data sets (100K to millions of rows)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset

• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

Qualifications:

• Must be a UAE National

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field

• Experience with data scripting languages or data tools preferred

• Internship start dates available throughout 2025

• Duration: 3 to 6 months (on-site, not remote)
