Position: Civil Site Engineer

Overview:
North Ocean Contracting LLC is hiring a qualified Civil Site Engineer to join our Dubai-based team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing on-site activities across residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects in the UAE. You’ll play a vital role in site execution, quality assurance, HSE compliance, and coordination with consultants and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Execution:

• Oversee site activities including structural works, concrete, finishing, and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, local authority requirements (DM, DEWA, RTA, Trakhees), and project specifications.

• Manage site labor, subcontractors, and resource allocation.

• Perform site layout, leveling, and surveying supervision.

Quality Control & Assurance:

• Enforce quality procedures and conduct inspections to ensure project standards.

• Address non-conformities and coordinate with consultants for technical approvals.

• Monitor material quality, delivery, and storage.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and conduct safety briefings.

• Identify potential site hazards and implement preventive measures.

• Maintain full PPE compliance and enforce safe work practices.

Project Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track project progress, highlight delays, and propose corrective actions.

• Prepare and submit progress reports (daily/weekly/monthly).

• Assist with scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.

Technical & Coordination:

• Resolve technical issues on-site and interpret drawings and BOQs.

• Coordinate with the design team and subcontractors for smooth execution.

• Attend technical and coordination meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in building construction projects

• Strong knowledge of DM, DEWA, RTA, and Trakhees standards

• UAE driving license preferred

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project; Primavera P6 is an advantage

• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

• Strong understanding of quality, safety, and project control systems

Working Conditions:

• Site-based role in outdoor construction environments

• May require overtime or weekend work depending on project needs
