Airbus Africa and Middle East FZE is looking for a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) to deliver world-class pilot training based on Airbus standards and international aviation authority requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role in Dubai, ideal for experienced aviation professionals with strong instructional capabilities and Airbus experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pilot training across multiple courses listed in the Airbus Pilot Catalog using advanced training tools.

• Ensure effective transfer of knowledge and flight safety practices aligned with Airbus Flight Training Standards and applicable regulations.

• Assess trainee performance, provide written reports, and recommend additional training if required.

• Conduct training sessions in accordance with the Airbus Flight Crew Training Programme (FCTP).

• Travel within the region or to other Airbus Training Centres as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current or previously held CPL with Frozen ATPL or full ATPL, preferably EASA.

• Valid A320 rating; A330 or A350 type ratings are a plus.

• Previous or current SFI and/or SFE authorization from same authority as ATPL.

• Completion of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) as a pilot.

• Minimum 3,000 flight hours total.

• Minimum 1,500 hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA).

• At least 3 years of experience in commercial aviation on FAR 25 / CS 25 or FAR 23 / CS 23 aircraft.

• Strong briefing, debriefing, and instructional communication skills in English.

• Based in Dubai, UAE under local employment terms.

• Reports to the Head of Training – Airbus Africa & Middle East.

• Role includes regional and international travel for training activities.
