Job Summary:

As a Medical Science Liaison (GCC), you will be the bridge between Viatris and the healthcare community, providing scientific expertise, facilitating clinical research support, and promoting effective medical training and exchange. This role focuses on the GCC region and aims to strengthen the medical-scientific presence and compliance within Viatris’ operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Scientific Exchange & Medical Engagement:

• Act as a primary medical contact for healthcare professionals (HCPs) across GCC countries

• Provide balanced, scientific communication on Viatris products and pipeline

• Facilitate in-person and virtual discussions regarding new products, mechanisms of action, efficacy, and safety

• Build strong, long-term scientific partnerships with HCPs, professional associations, and patient advocacy groups

Clinical & Research Support:

• Support the execution of local clinical plans and research studies

• Participate in site identification, feasibility assessments, and coordination of clinical activities

• Assist in identifying real-world evidence (RWE) opportunities and data gaps for pipeline assets

• Work with investigators and clinicians on expanded access and named patient programs

Training & Compliance:

• Deliver product and disease area training to internal teams, including sales representatives

• Ensure all activities align with Viatris SOPs, ethical standards, and regional regulations

• Maintain cross-functional collaboration with in-country and above-country teams

Qualifications:

• Doctorate (PhD, PharmD) or Bachelor’s in Medicine or Clinical Pharmacy

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical affairs or commercial roles within multinational pharma

Core Competencies:

• Strong understanding of research, GCP, health economics, and medical compliance codes

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus

• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills

• Strong time management and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
