📌 Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in pre-contract estimation and BOQ preparation for civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in quantity take-offs, tender documentation, subcontractor liaison, and cost analysis.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Accurately perform quantity take-offs for various civil construction elements.

Prepare and validate detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation.

Analyze direct and indirect cost breakdowns for pre-contract estimates.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure BOQ alignment.

Identify discrepancies or missing elements in drawings and specifications; raise RFIs as necessary.

Prepare and issue subcontractor and material supplier enquiries.

Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations, ensuring scope and pricing accuracy.

Maintain and update supplier and subcontractor database for accurate pricing references.

Support proposal teams in bid submissions by providing commercial input.

Utilize take-off software (e.g., PlanSwift) to streamline measurements and quantity calculations.

Assist in the review and submission of tender documentation.
✅ Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

Minimum 4–10 years of UAE/Gulf experience, primarily in pre-contract quantity surveying.

Expertise in BOQ preparation, tender analysis, and subcontractor negotiations.

Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Take-off Software such as PlanSwift.

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Excellent understanding of civil construction methodologies and contract structures.
