Talents Tide is seeking a qualified Shariah Compliance Manager to oversee Shariah compliance activities for an Islamic financial institution. The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of Islamic finance principles, regulatory standards, and internal compliance processes. You will lead Shariah audits, implement best practices, and ensure full alignment with regulatory bodies including the Higher Sharia Authority (HSA) and AAOIFI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Islamic finance regulations including HSA and AAOIFI standards.

• Review business activities, contracts, manuals, and policies to ensure they align with Shariah principles.

• Analyze fatwas, circulars, and resolutions issued by regulatory authorities; address compliance gaps with actionable plans.

• Lead internal Shariah reviews and audits across departments and affiliates.

• Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and the Shariah Supervisory Committee.

• Promote Shariah-compliant culture through training, workshops, and department-level engagement.

• Develop and implement internal policies, tools, and monitoring frameworks to strengthen Shariah governance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Shariah, Islamic Finance, or Islamic Economics.

• 5–7 years of experience in a Shariah department within an Islamic financial institution.

• In-depth knowledge of Islamic banking practices, products, and services.

• Familiarity with local and international Shariah regulations and risk management.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to lead reviews and regulatory discussions.

• Experience in preparing detailed compliance reports and coordinating with Shariah boards.
