Job Summary:

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Landscape Architect to support its Rail & Transport division in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing material specifications and integrating sustainable landscape architecture solutions into complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document material specifications and standards for transportation infrastructure projects.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality materials are delivered on time.

• Conduct and oversee material testing for compliance and durability.

• Ensure materials align with industry standards and project-specific requirements.

• Support design and construction teams with material-related technical inputs.

• Review, approve, and manage submittals and material samples.

• Research and propose innovative or sustainable material solutions.

• Produce clear material reports and technical documentation.

• Manage procurement and inventory of landscape materials.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, architects, and project managers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing standards, and specifications.

• Familiarity with sustainable landscape practices and material sourcing.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities across teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in rail and transport infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly material options.

• Competency in using material and design specification tools.
