Job Description:
Sulzer Services is seeking a Back Office Engineer to join the FE_WIBU team in Dubai. The role involves assisting distributors and customers with quotations for complex products, managing tender preparations, and supporting sales efforts primarily in the Gulf region. You will work closely with outdoor sales engineers, designers, and support teams to ensure product suitability and maximize order conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist distributors and direct customers with quotations and tier 1 project orders.

• Prepare technical and commercial tenders in cooperation with sales teams and authorized dealers.

• Evaluate customer pump applications to meet product and pricing requirements.

• Support designers in municipal projects specifying Sulzer products.

• Manage technical and commercial negotiations within delegated authority.

• Maintain reporting and use company tools like Quotation Tool, CRM, and SAP following guidelines.

• Clarify complex technical queries.

• Maintain regular customer contact via phone and email.

• Handle project and order processing in SAP from quotation to invoicing.

• Liaise regularly with Sulzer Water & Industry BU factories.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and end-user specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales support, application engineering, or tendering in multinational companies, preferably in wastewater and water treatment equipment.

• Knowledge of Chemical, Food, Fertilizers, and PPI sectors is a plus.

• Experience with wastewater and water treatment projects.

• Arabic language skills preferred.

• Strong commercial acumen, time management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in computer tools and able to work effectively both in teams and remotely.
