Job Description:
Uber is seeking a Senior Operations Manager, Growth Programs for the MEA region to lead strategic growth initiatives across both Uber and Careem platforms. This high-impact role is focused on accelerating user acquisition, engagement, and retention through operational excellence, cross-brand collaboration, and continuous innovation. You will be instrumental in executing and optimizing growth programs to meet aggressive business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Drive end-to-end strategy and execution of growth programs that align with brand and business goals for Uber and Careem.

• Program Management: Plan, launch, and scale initiatives such as referral systems, partnerships, loyalty, and promotional campaigns.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between Uber, Careem Technologies, and other internal departments such as Marketing, Product, Data Science, Legal, and Finance.

• Process Optimization: Design, document, and enhance workflows to improve efficiency, compliance, and scalability.

• Performance Analysis: Establish KPIs, build tracking systems, and conduct in-depth performance analysis to deliver actionable insights.

• Reporting: Deliver frequent updates and reports to internal and Careem stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and strategic direction.

• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks associated with program execution.

• Vendor Management: Oversee third-party vendors and partners involved in growth execution.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure full adherence to internal policies, legal, and regulatory frameworks across Uber and Careem.

• Innovation: Stay current on industry trends and continuously seek ways to improve operational practices and growth strategies.

• Careem Partnership: Act as the main operational contact for Careem Technologies to ensure alignment and collaboration on shared objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations or program management, especially within high-growth tech environments

• Strong experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams, ideally in matrix or multi-brand organizations

• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills (Excel, SQL preferred)

• Sharp organizational ability and attention to detail

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; capable of influencing stakeholders across levels

• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in a dynamic environment

• Experience with marketing technologies and tools

• Understanding of the mobility/ride-hailing industry is a plus

• Multi-brand or multi-region management experience is advantageous

• Results-driven, proactive mindset with a passion for scaling operations and driving business growth
