Parsons Corporation is seeking a talented BIM/CAD Technician (MEP) to join their growing team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure projects by supporting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and drafting activities. The ideal candidate will have experience with BIM modeling for large-scale MEP systems, including pump stations, gas networks, HVAC systems, and metro/substation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support BIM Lead and Design Leads in ensuring compliance with BIM standards and timely project delivery.

• Develop detailed MEP engineering drawings, including arrangements, layouts, assemblies, isometrics, and component details.

• Execute BIM modeling and manage all related activities from project initiation to completion.

• Conduct QA/QC reviews of drawings for readability, presentation, and adherence to Parsons standards.

• Create and manage both parametric and non-parametric Revit families.

• Understand and apply LOD (Level of Development) requirements.

• Collaborate with other disciplines for model coordination and clash detection using Autodesk Navisworks.

• Generate quantity take-offs and schedules directly from BIM models.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the project team.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 5+ years of GCC experience in BIM/CAD drafting for MEP projects.

• Proven experience with pump stations, gas networks, HVAC systems, and infrastructure facilities like metro stations or MCC rooms.

• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, ProjectWise, and BIM360.

• In-depth understanding of BIM processes, LOD standards, and model coordination.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
