Position: Elevator Service Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on elevators, escalators, and lifts.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system malfunctions.

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore functionality.

• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure safety and performance compliance.

• Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and inventory logs.

• Communicate with building management, clients, and team members professionally.

• Recommend technical upgrades or system improvements when needed.

• Stay updated on manufacturer service bulletins and participate in technical training.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in elevator maintenance and repair.

• Technical knowledge of elevator systems (traction and hydraulic) and control panels.

• Skilled in reading wiring diagrams, blueprints, and service manuals.

• Experience with major brands such as Otis, Schindler, KONE, Mitsubishi, and ThyssenKrupp.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to safety and detail.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights.

• Valid UAE driver’s license is a must.

• Certification in workplace safety and elevator servicing is an advantage.
