Join a Leading Design & Engineering Consultancy in Dubai – Structural Draughtsman (Precast Concrete)

We are hiring an experienced Structural Draughtsman to join a prestigious multinational engineering consultancy in Dubai. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate availability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural draughting, specifically in precast concrete detailing for civil, infrastructure, and high-rise projects.

You will work closely with engineers to produce accurate shop drawings, plans, and detailing packages using AutoCAD and Revit. Candidates with a background in consultancy environments and a solid understanding of precast concrete systems will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed precast concrete drawings, including shop drawings, GA layouts, and reinforcement detailing.

• Use AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software to deliver high-precision draughting outputs.

• Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams to modify and refine technical drawings.

• Review drawings for compliance with project specifications, codes, and QA/QC standards.

• Create and maintain accurate material take-offs, bar bending schedules, and documentation for fabrication.

• Ensure timely submission and coordination of drawings with contractors and consultants.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Structural Draughtsman.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in precast concrete detailing.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools.

• Familiarity with construction standards, precast elements, and reinforcement layout.

• Experience working in a consultancy environment is highly preferred.

• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
