Nord Anglia International School Dubai (NAS Dubai) is hiring a full-time School Librarian with teaching responsibilities. The ideal candidate will support the school’s vibrant academic environment by managing library resources while delivering engaging instructional sessions aligned with the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, and the IB Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the school’s library services to support academic learning and literacy development.

• Deliver library-based instruction to students across year groups, encouraging a love for reading and research.

• Collaborate with teachers to support classroom learning through library resources and co-teaching where required.

• Foster an inclusive, engaging library environment that promotes independent learning.

• Assist with the organization of book fairs, reading challenges, and author visits.

• Maintain accurate records of library resources and student use.

• Integrate digital tools and platforms to enhance library accessibility and engagement.

• Uphold safeguarding practices and contribute to a safe and stimulating school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Education, English, or a related field.

• Recognized teaching qualification.

• Prior experience in a librarian role with teaching duties in an international or British curriculum school preferred.

• Familiarity with IB or A Level frameworks is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of literacy development and information literacy practices.
