Job Title: Middle & Light Distillates

Job Description:
Our client, a prestigious trading boutique with international reach, is seeking an experienced Middle & Light Distillates / Fuel Oil Trader to join their growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in sourcing, managing positions, and building relationships within the Africa market, particularly in West and Central Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop trading positions in Middle and Light Distillates, and Fuel Oil markets.

• Handle sourcing, shorts, and long positions to optimize profitability and minimize risk.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, customers, and traders in the Africa market.

• Monitor market trends, financial news, and global events to inform trading decisions.

• Leverage existing market knowledge and book to drive immediate value and business development.

• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless trading operations.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a trader in Middle and/or Light Distillates or Fuel Oil markets, with an existing book.

• Strong knowledge of the African market, particularly West and Central Africa.

• Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to manage trades independently.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong analytical skills and an in-depth understanding of trading strategies.

• Experience in business development and expanding market presence.
